  • Areas are in hectares (1 ha = 10 000 m², about 2.47 acres); distances in metres. The measuring tool can switch to feet and acres.

  • A scene’s time is the satellite’s pass, in UTC. Sentinel-2 and Landsat pass in the late morning, local time. Sentinel-1 (radar) passes near dawn or dusk; a pass in the late evening UTC falls on the next local day in Indonesia.

  • Index values have no unit: most run from −1 to 1. The radar backscatter layers are in decibels (dB), from about −28 to 0.

  • Cloud is a share, in per cent: of your fields on the main map, of the satellite’s tile in the catalog.
